How to Apply

Hollingsworth Funds is committed to the responsible allocation of its grant awards. Local 501(c)(3) organizations can submit one grant application per year for either Program/Project Funding (up to $50,000) OR Capital Project Funding (up to $250,000) for charitable uses within Greenville County, SC, or for the benefit of Greenville County residents.

Hollingsworth Funds' competitive grants application program is administered via the Community Foundation of Greenville. Grant requests are accepted from July through early September each year, with recipients announced in December. The Hollingsworth Funds Board of Directors selects beneficiaries based on the annual income it has to distribute, the number of applications it receives, and the impact its funding can have on the quality of life in Greenville County.

All grant requests must be submitted through the Community Foundation of Greenville. Guidelines and criteria used in the grant making process, as well as an online application, are available at this link.
