Prepare for College & Career

Increase the percentage of students graduating from high school who are prepared for college and career.

Our community has students who are starting behind and staying behind, making it difficult to get on the path toward a high-paying job. Although 86% of Greenville County students are graduating high school, only 65% of graduates are prepared for college and careers.

We’re working with our community to strengthen pathways that:

  • Make it easier for students to participate in and complete dual enrollment.
  • Increase opportunities for paid work-based learning experiences, such as internships and apprenticeships.
  • Align academic and community-based interventions with student needs.
