Increase the percentage of students graduating from high school who are prepared for college and career.
Prepare for College & Career
Our community has students who are starting behind and staying behind, making it difficult to get on the path toward a high-paying job. Although 86% of Greenville County students are graduating high school, only 65% of graduates are prepared for college and careers.
We’re working with our community to strengthen pathways that:
- Make it easier for students to participate in and complete dual enrollment, as well as career and technical education (CTE) programs.
- Increase opportunities for paid work-based learning experiences, such as internships and apprenticeships.
- Align academic and community-based interventions with student needs.
